ABOUT TRANS PLANET

Trans Planet is a nonprofit small business that is here to raise money for trans folk who cannot afford and/or do not have insurance that covers the gender-affirming care that they need.

The idea for Trans Planet came from the owner's high school business class. The first thing they did in that class was a small project of coming up with a business idea for some issue in the world or their community. Javery's idea was about how difficult it can be to medically transition due to general medical prices, and they started some research on how one might raise money. Of course, for a business project, they thought of making a store and putting the profits towards trans youth. As they continued their research, they found it may actually be possible, and decided to pursue this idea.
